MagmaConf 2017

Anti-Harassment Policy

MagmaConf is designed to be a harassment-free conference experience for all participants. We welcome everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, mother tongue, operational system of your devices, preferred programming language/framework, or anything else. We embrace diversity.

We ask all participants to respect one another, and we will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
We reserve the right to warn or expel offenders from the event without a right of refund, and they will not be able to attend any future MagmaConf related events in any way.

Please contact a staff member in case you are being harassed, or are concerned about anything that might be related to this subject.

Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
